I have many fabrics, trims and appliques from which to choose, to create the vestment you envision. I can also incorporate details such as vintage artwork or bandings into your piece to make it uniquely your own. I enjoy the challenge of rescuing retired vestments and renewing the artwork and trims by incorporating them into something new.
A Brief History
I picked up a thread and needle long before sewing my first item for the Church, but my interest in Vestment Design began 14 years ago when I became the Sacristan at my Parish.
My eye was drawn not only to the construction of vestments, but also how they become a part of the liturgy. The more I observed, the more I could see how these sewn elements could compliment or distract and I began mending and reworking various vestments for my Parish.
These projects naturally progressed into a personal passion and I was put on a path that would lead me to work with two amazing mentors who have helped me to hone my technique in construction, design and liturgical styles.
